A New Interpretation for "Relevance-Adaptation" Model

Relevance-Adaptation model describes communication from the speaker's point of view.Based on it,we propose a more comprehensive pragmatic model for interpreting the whole process of language use in communication involving both utterance production and interpretation.Examples show that within the framework of the new model,both interactive linguistic communication and monologues like public speeches can be interpreted from the pragmatic point of view.
