Design and Realization of an Information System for Spilled Oil at Sea Based on 3S

To avoid the serious destruction from spilled oil at sea,3S technology,VB,ARCINFO and database technology were applied to develop an information system for spilled oil at sea.In the paper,the development procedures of the system(including mathematical models,database and key programming technology etc.) and the functions of the system are discussed in detail.
