This paper introduces theory and methods by using surge filter technology to reduce errors caused by wave.And to make the surge filter the validity of data analysis and data processing,comparative analysis the changes of water depth measurement accuracy was caused by surge filter before and after.Also analysis the evaluation,it improves measurement accuracy more than one times.At last,the use of surge filter considerations have be proposed.
