Research and Implementation of a Single Streaming Image Mechanism Based on RTP Package Modification

As the application of the Internet streaming media becomes more and more popular,the streaming caching proxy technology turns to a hot research point in recent years. This paper analyses the principle of Single Streaming Image (SSI), which is the kernel technology used to implement streaming caching proxy. An algorithm based on RTP package modification is put forward in the paper. Through deploying the algorithm in the streaming caching proxy, SSI is implemented successfully. The practical testing results prove that the SSI based on RTP package modification is effective.
