Design of A SIP-based Event-notification Model

SOAP helps to realize event notification by supporting a new RPC method.It can improve the limitation of CORBA and DCOM systems to a certain extent.This paper analyzes the limitation of CORBA and DCOM systems first of all.Further,it puts forward a new model of event notification.Finally,it analyzes how to construct event notification system using SIP and SOAP based on an example.
