Design and Application of Well Log Curves Automatic Sorting in Layers

This paper describers the procedures of well log curve automatic sorting in layers and several calculation models in terms of practicality and feasibility.This paper proposed the method of how to use prepress and post prepress in order to eliminate the interference of the measure error on the model.The application of statistics and the cluster analysis in the automatic sorting in layers is introduced and the corresponding software is developed.The well log curves can be automatically sorted in layers.The theory has been applied effectively and the model practicality and effectivity have been justified.
