Edge Detection for Chest Hydrocele Desquamate Cell Based on Combining of Canny Algorithm and Morphology

Describes the edge detection analysis for chest hydrocele desquamate cell images. The cell images, which are variant with the narrow range of gray levels and non-random noise, are ubiquitous problems existing in this kind of images. Proposes the combining of Canny algorithm and morphology, considering above the characteristics. The algorithm in this paper can realize the precise edge detection of pathologic cell images according to the results of experiments. The main contribution of this research is to assist pathologic clinical diagnosis and to improve the diagnosis efficiency and degree of accuracy, which are benefit for detecting pathological changes in the early stages.
