Entropy Squeezing of a Two-level Atom in the Dissipative Approximation

Liao Xiang · Journal of Zhuzhou Teachers College · 2006

The entropy squeezing of a two-level atom in the Jaynes-Cummings model in the dispersve approximation is investigated by the theory of quantum information entropy. It is shown that the entropy squeezing effect decreases with the increase of the dissipation and the field amplitude. When the field amplitude is small, the influence of dissipation on the the entropy squeezing effect is very small and can be not taken into account.
