The Improving Activity of APG to Glyphosate Herbicide and Action Mechanism

The improving activity of the new environmental protection assistant alkylpolyglycos(APG) to the glyphosate herbicide were studied. The synergistic action mechanism were explored by evaluated the properties of the APG, the application performance of glyphosate herbicide whether or not addition APG, the SEM of leaf surface after the application of the complex of glyphosate herbicide and APG, etc. The results showed that the APG had excellent synergy to glyphosate herbicide. This excellent synergy was directly related to good wettability of the complex of glyphosate herbicide and APG. That also was related to that epidermal wax layer of plant were dissolved, swelled or destroyed by APG, therefore the glyphosate herbicide becomed easy to penetrate and the solubility in the corneum increased. In particular, APG can induced stomatal absorbability of glyphosate herbicide by plants.
