Color Image Digital Watermarking Algorithm Based on DCT and DWT

A new algorithm with image digital watermarking based on DCT and DWT is proposed.The given color image is split into its three components in the YIQ color space firstly,then the luminance component Y is chosen and decomposed by two level DWT,the low frequency band is chosen and decomposed by DCT.According to the characteristics of Human Visual System(HVS),insensitive to the image′s texture and edges,the watermarking information is embedded into the larger energy blocks.Simulation result shows that the method is practicable with good robustness to shearing and geometric attacks.
