Application of the constant modulus algorithm in blind beamforming

As an important algorithm in blind beamforming, the constant modulus algorithm (CMA) has been widely studied by many scholars. In this paper, the stochastic gradient descent CMA and the least square CMA with their applications in blind beamforming are introduced. Several methods concerning the CMA for multi user in blind beamforming are discussed, with the features of each method analyzed. The uniform linear array with four sensors is used in the computer simulations. And the numerical results about the performance of the algorithms are presented. Finally, the present applications of the CMA are introduced and some topics to be further studied are pointed out.
