A Real-time GPS Positioning Technology Based on Electronic Map

This paper mainly presents about a realtime positioning technology.It combines GPS technology and electronic map technology to position the user′s present position accurately on the electronic map,using Windows operating system.This paper introduces several main steps involved for developing a smallscale GPS/GIS system,including GPS signal receiving,processing of GPS signal,developing the electronic map,realizing the function of GPS position finally.The content of this paper is presented logically and easily understandable,so it has high reference value for beginner to learn and develop more complex GPS/GIS system.Experiments prove that this mini-positioning system designed by this method could satisfy civil application with high precision.
