Leak detection method based on the sound wave was a modern testing technology and possesses potential development capacity.The basic principle,positioning method and system composition of the sound wave leak detection were analyzed.The core technology of the sound wave leak detection technology realizing the engineering application was put forward.The domestic and foreign engineering applications of the detection technology were introduced,which provided the references for a wide range of application of the sonic detection technique in domestic oil and gas pipeline leak detection.
