On the Semantic Structural Patterns of Chinese Core-Sentences

As an organic part of Chinese grammar research,the research of sentences'semantic structural patterns must abide by the basic principle that the research should combine meaning with form.The paper classifies the basic predications of Modern Chinese according to distinctive semantic features,and then describes their semantic structures with predicate logic.The paper points out that the semantic constituents of Chinese sentences form a layer system,and the core sentences in Chinese have five basic semantic structural patterns.
