Analysis for current situations of the patents of statins in China

In this paper we statistically analyzed Chinese patent situation of statins within 1985-2009 years.Some of useful competitive information are throughly analyzed,such as the number of applications,application areas,the applicants,legal status and comparison of the patent application numbers with other lipid-lowering drugs.The results will provide references for the pharmaceutical companies.
