Failure detection scheme based on high quality of services in cloud networks

FD properties with relation to the automatic fault-tolerant cloud computing networks were explored,and a general self-tuning failure detection method was proposed.Based on the above general method,an automatic self-tuning failure detector(SFD)was proposed to optimize the existing FDs and explore the implementation of SFD.The failure detection scheme and existing schemes were comparatively evaluated by extensive experiments on seven representative wide area network(WAN)cases.The experimental results show the properties of the different FDs,and demonstrate that the scheme can automatically adjust SFD control parameters to obtain corresponding services and satisfy user requirements,while maintaining good performance.
