Objective To detect the method of indexing CLC number by Chinese Library Classification(4ed).Methods The principle of settlement,indexing attentions and experience of Chinese Library Classification(4ed) were introduced in detail.Results Scientific papers could be indexed exactly and quickly.Conclusion CLC number can be indexed reasonably with the complete insight into the making principle of Chinese Library Classification(4ed).
