Analysis about Application of Surge Protection Device

Aiming at the current situation of lightning protection in building and information system,the cha-racteristics of lightning,the classification and function of surge protective device(SPD) were briefly introduced.The selection of SPD for power line and SPD for signal line in practical project were expounded in detail.At last,the backup protection of SPD was introduced in short so as to offer references for designers.
