Weimin Li · Dianzi qijian · 2009

A low operation voltage bandgap reference circuit adopting current-summing mode instead of conventional voltage-summing mode is designed. In addition,a kind of temperature curvature-corrected technique in which linearised P-N junction turns-on voltage(VBE)is proposed in order to ensure a low temperature coefficient and high precision of reference voltage,With TSMC 0.6μm BCD process, the layout of 0.2 mm2 area is fabricated.Simulated with Spectre in Cadence, the result shows that the bandgap reference still works well when the source voltage falls to 1.1 V,with the temperature coefficient of 9.1×10-6/℃,and PSRR of-78 dB in the temperature rang from-20℃ to 120℃,Under the typical source voltage of 1.5 V,the reference output voltage may adjust in the range of 0.165 V to 1.25 V.
