Spatio-temporal Data Model and TGIS

The spatio-temporal data model was a core to study the TGIS.The paper summerized the relation of the spatio-temporal and TGIS, and also analyzed the characteristics and issues of some typical spatio-temporal data models and discussed the existing problems of the current spatio-temporal data model research.At the end of the paper,the authors gave some suggestions and outlook to the future developing direction of the TGIS and the spatio-temporal data model.
