Policy-Based Distributed Network Management System

Policy is an effective method to manage a distributed network. Policy based network management can decrease the complexity and cost in management efficiently. The conception of policy is described and its functions are analysed. And then a new description of policy for network management is suggested and a policy based network management system is presented. Dynamic configuration of the managed tasks is implemented to improve the flexibility of the system.
