GIS uncertainty basic theory and problems needing solving urgently

GIS uncertainty is a hotspot and difficulty of GIS theory.Although GIS uncertainty research has obtained abundant achievement,it still exists many problems.The paper expatiates GIS uncertainty basic theory such as GIS uncertainty classification,GIS uncertainty causations,multi-sources of GIS uncertainty,theory and methods of GIS uncertainty visualization and treating methods of GIS uncertainty,and illuminates some problems existing in GIS uncertainty theory and problems needing solving urgently.At last it generalizes the future research issue about GIS uncertainty.
