Study of space-time coding and performance for transmitting diversity

In this paper, we introduce the characteristic of space-time block-coding (ST-BC) to repel channel fading and improve system capacity on transmitting diversity in 3G,analyze and emulate on performance.Then, we introduce the development process of STBC and discuss the encode and decode process and characteristic of STBC, and simulate performance of STBC in rely flat fading channel. Finally, introduce the application of STBC in 3G.
