Designing of a decimation filter based on digital down-converter

Digital down conversion is one of the key techniques of software radio.The design and realization of the decimation filters are key to digital down conversion.In connection with the high sample rate in digital down conversion,the two special filters CIC and HB are used for decimation and filtering.In light of an analysis of the parameters of CIC,a best group is selected to optimize and design CIC.The use of optimal equiripple for HB is to reduce the sample points of the filter,cut down the cost and avoid frequency of sudden jump.Simulation and design in System Generator was as good as in FPGA design,and lower price and shorter time ccould be achieved in Systemgenerator than in FPGA.
