The demands for fixed network intelligence have been nurtured and created by network optimization and reconstruction for fixed operators,convergence of Personal Handy-phone System (PHS) network and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN),and the broadband and multimedia trend in communications networks. The Softswitch technology can assist in actualizing network intelligence. The network intelligence solution based on the Softswitch technology is advantageous in that it can expand the range of telecom services,and promotes the convergence of fixed and mobile networks.
