Study of E-Learning platform based on semantic grid

With the entirely population of Internet, electronic learning(E-Learning)is becoming an important learning style in information age. E-Learning is aimed to break the restrictions in time and space area so that it can support resource sharing and learning collaboration, and provide an individual and self-adaptive learning environment. An E-Learning platform architecture framework based on semantic grid is presented after analyzing the supporting to the development of E-Learning by semantic web and grid computing, and service-oriented semantic grid middleware is its core. Next the constituted functions of E-Learning architecture are addressed. At last the constructing strategies of E-Learning environment through components compositing are discussed.
