The Compilation and Creation of San Guo Yan Yi Chinese-English Parallel Corpus

This paper,based on the self-built San Guo Yan Yi Chinese-English parallel corpus,reports its design and compilation process,including collection,computerization and makeup of data and alignment of sentences as well as the development of search software.It is hoped that it will help people construct such parallel corpus as one original with different translations and provide a network platform for the systematic study of San Guo Yan Yi and its translations.
