Liu Xiang and the establishment of Classical Documentation Science

Chinese Classical Documentation Science had been established as early as when Liu Xiang worked on his collation project. In the course of collating books, Liu Xiang gradually formed a rational thinking, built and constructed the basic framework of the branches of Classical Documentation Science, such as science of editions of books, textual criticism, bibliography, distinguishing of fake classics.
