Audio information hiding algorithm based on DCT

A novel information hiding algorithm for secret speech communication is proposed.First,IMBE(improved multi-band exited) coding is used for secret speech,and the bits are arragned to form security information.Then open audio is converted into segments and DCT(discrete cosine transform) is performed.The security information is embedded by modifying the sub-segments energy of DCT.At the receiver,based on the same method,the sub-segments energy is determind and the hiding bit is recoverd without original audio.The secret speech is recoverd by IMBE decoding.Emulational experiment results show that the method is robust to some attacks such as compressing,adding noise and so on.
