XML Access Control Model and its Application

XML is widely used nowadays. On one hand, its access control is indispensable. On the other hand, how to preserve the access control policy is also important, when mapping relational database to XML In this paper, an XML access control model is proposed based on its self-description, and the application of this model is also discussed in an actual system.
