LT Coding Scheme with UEP Characteristic

In order to solve the problem that image and video have high data reliability requirement in transmission,this paper proposes Luby Transform(LT) coding scheme having Unequal Error Protection(UEP) characteristic.It analyses the UEP of LT coding in wirless channel,adds appropriate bit of important information to improve the rate of checking in coding process,and realizes the purpose of protection.Experimental results show that the performance of this scheme with iterative decoding is evaluated over Additive White Gaussian Noise(AWGN) and fast Rayleigh fading channels is good in the side of UEP characteristic.
