Identity-based non-delegatable universal designated verifier signature

Yong Li · Journal of Tsinghua University(Science and Technology) · 2009

An identity(ID)-based non-delegatable universal designated verifier signature(UDVS) scheme was developed to overcome the delegatability weakness in some ID-based UDVS schemes.A formal security model was developed for the ID-based UDVS that has properties of unforgeability and non-transferability needed by a secure UDVS.The ID-based non-delegatable UDVS scheme uses bilinear pairing with the Barreto-Libert-McCullagh-Quisquater signature as within the framework of ID-based cryptography. The scheme is proven secure in the sense of the unforgeability,non-transferability and non-delegatability notions for ID-based UDVS schemes under the q-strong Diffie-Hellman assumption and the random oracle model.
