Management of SDH Network Based on SNMP and AgentX
Yichao Wang · Telecommunication Engineering · 2005
Network management is one of the most important parts for Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) networks. Considering the simplicity and practicability of Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and the agile extension ability the AgentX brings, the authors propose a strategy of the SDH management network based on the two protocols. The authors elaborate this proposal, divid and explain some key design modules in development. Implementation of the proposal makes SDH network management more agile and more efficient.
