A new robust chip equalization algorithm

Chip equalization is one of the key technologies for improving 3G mobile communications’ performance. In order to enhance the robustness of the chip equalizer, the robust estimation method is applied to MRLS algorithm, resulting in a new robust MRLS algorithm (RMRLS). Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed RMRLS keeps the advantage of MRLS and has better anti-jamming performance than the latter.
