Information electronic-magnetic emanation analysis of the video display unit for computers

We discuss the principle of information electronic magnetic emanation and information eavesdropping using the method of signal theory and frequency domain analysis, and point out the importance of information emanation and suppression. Aiming at different display elements of VDU, we analyse frequency speciality of video signals. According to the informaiton emanation theory and eavesdropping theory, we identify the information receive bandwidth and safe bandwidth of suppress information emanation for different size character display, which provides quantitative data for the design of Video Display Unit anti emanation.
