An investigation and analysis on the issue of the relationship between Xian tian tu and binary system

SHAO Yong had elaborated the Xian tian tu in the 11th century,while the German mathematician and philosopher Leibniz put forward the binary system during the turn between centuries of the 17th and 18th.And then the relationship between Xian tian tu and the binary system became an unfailing issue in the academic field.This paper sorts out and analyzes the former achievements and,based on the cultural significance of rethinking the relationship of Xian tian tu and the binary system,makes a conclusion:the binary system is purely a mathematical method,and however,the Xian tian tu is a meaningful philosophical symbol,so they are very different,without a substantive correlation.
