Application of intelligence mobile agent in domain name system

Aiming at current domain name system (DNS), this paper analyzes its work procedure and domain name resolution principle and discusses the optimizing performance. Some concepts and principle of agent are introduced, technology of agent to DNS is applied and Intelligence Mobile Agent (IMA) model of DNS is proposed. Through analysis of this model, it is proved that the application of IMA to DNS can reduce the resolution time. This model can obviously increase the efficiency of DNS.
