A GIS based Assets Remote Tracking and Monitoring System

Recently,a lot of professional equipment providers are established,now more and more projects rent equipments for reducing the cost,so the assets owners need a solution for assets safety to know where,when,what and how information of assets.In this paper,a remote tracing and monitoring system based on GIS is introduced.The system framework and key technology in relation to the implementation of system are described.Particularly,a method to realize the integration of asset management data in the complex condition of cross data exchange protocols,cross operation platforms and networks.Lastly,based on special vehicle equipments for dangerous gas transportation,the system has been developed and running for commercial purpose.
