Ranking decision making units based on the weight set

Efficiency ranking of decision making units(DMUs) is one of the important applications of data envelopment analysis(DEA).However,conventional DEA-related ranking approaches are based on the self-evaluation efficiencies,each DMU chooses its most favorite weights,and the resulted efficiencies have little meaning as ranking base.Therefore this paper advances a ranking technique based on the weight set which is favorable for all DMUs' efficiencies and can narrow the gap between evaluation efficiencies and self-evaluation efficiencies.In order to have a reasonable and acceptable ranking result,cross efficiency is being used for its advantages.The effectiveness of the method is illustrated through a numerical example.
