Technology and Realization about Waterfall-Analysis of Signals

Neither the time domain nor the frequency domain displays can reflect all information of the signal solely, whereas time-frequency displays, i.e. 3-D waterfall displays, contain more abundant information, it can express the change of the frequency domain of signal effectively within a period of continuous time, therefore it often applys to the research of the non-steady random signal. At first, this paper discusses the important meaning of waterfall-analysis in the field of signal analysis, then it expounds the realization in detail that adopts DSP to carry on the real-time processing of the signal, PC is responsible for finishing the three-dimension displays dynamically.
