Integrating the Sensor Networks with the Internet Using Web Service
LV Hai-lian · Journal of Pingdingshan University · 2008
With the rapid development and wide applications of wireless sensor networks, the connection of sensor networks with their application through the Internet faces a core challenge.Service-oriented architecture for software development can be used for this challenge.By defining a set of core services and some auxiliary services to encapsulate the sensor networks, the interfaces of the sensor networks with their applications are encapsulated as web services.Through services registry and advertisement, these services can be inquired about, located and invoked by applications over HTTP.
