The Technologies and Applications on Storage Area Network(SAN)

Based on the requirements by information system, the paper reviews the developments of the storage scheme and introduces the up to date storage scheme of SAN and expounds its conception, structure, technical kernel, current status and the trend of its development. It is expected that some technical schemes can be provided to the design and implementation of the system which is highly available and has huge storage.
