Precision Measurement of Large-Scale Parts Based on Image Mosaic

This paper discusses the high resolution image acquisition method of the large-scale parts,and the application of image mosaic technology.Through the comparison of several image registration methods,SIFT feature matching algorithm is introduced with emphasis and is applied in an image registration experiment of a 500mm×300mm parts image sequences.The experiment shows a satisfactory stitching accuracy thus verifies the effectiveness of this method in the precision measurement of large-scale parts.
