Thinking of the Present Situation and Germplasm Innovation of Sweet Corn Breeding in China

Through the analysis of the present situation,the shortcoming in corn breeding were found and the methods of germplasm innovation were proposed as follosws:increasing the level for the collection and excavation of the local and foreign germplasm;to use the physical and chemical mutation methods,genetic engineering techniques and traditional dreeding methods to improve the germplasm innovation of waxy corn.
