Virtual Cluster Automatic Contextualization in Cloud Computation Based on IPv6
Junjie Chen · Journal of North University of China · 2012
In order to overcome limitations of contextualizing virtual machines in the cloud adopting IPv6,the paper designed an automatic contextualization model,in which a full customized VM image library was built, the VM images were selected, deployed and instantiated according the deployment policy. The VM instance generated a network address under the guide of stateless address auto-configuration mechanism. Finally, the configuration process was completed by the contextualization agent in VM.The experimental results showed that under different VM cluster deployment scales, the single virtual machine′s average contextualization time was less than 10% of the full deployment time.
