Application of Wavelet Analysis to Fault Diagnosis

After introducing the development and basic theory of wavelet analysis,the advance and status about this field is reviewed.Various methods of the application of wavelet analysis to fault diagnosis are instructed in detail,including the method of wavelet analysis fault diagnosis and the methods based on the combination of wavelet analysis with the intelligence theory and technology,such as neural networks,fuzzy logical and data fusion.The analysis and discussion is given to each method.Finally,by analyzing some of the existent faultiness of the research on the application of wavelet analysis to fault diagnosis,the future research directions and solutions are discussed.
