ANFIS the Application of Neural-fuzzy Inference Engine in Fault Diagnosis

Traditional fault diagnosis expert system that is mostly based on knowledge has some limitation. The technology of fuzzy neural network will bring new ideas to it. This new fault diagnosis approach which combines the fuzzy theory with neural network takes advantage of ANFIS in MATLAB to fulfill the neural-fuzzy reasoning of the system. The system is simulated with satisfactory results and ANFIS is proved to be effective for fuzzy reasoning of fault diagnosis .
