A Discussion on the Sharing Mechanism of Universities'Laboratory Equipment Resources

This paper discusses the problems of management in university laboratory equipments and the impor- tance of establishing equipment resources sharing mechanism and the difficulties that might encounter in it as well. Some suggestions for the sharing mechanism based on the author's experience are offered.It also looks at building an information platform for experimental education and laboratory management by adopting grid technology instead of conventional network construction technology.Hence,a highly effective laboratory equipment sharing mechanism can be formed,which will solve problems such as redundant purchases,disproportional allocation,and low efficient us- age.Moreover,it can make good use of our limited lab equipment resources for university research and teaching.
