The 3D wavelet transform technique on image sequence of Multislice Spiral CT(MSCT)

An important characteristic of MSCT image sequence of is that its voxels have the same resolution in three dimensions. So the 3D wavelet transform and SPIHT techniques are adopted to compress Image sequence of MSCT. Simulation results show that this method can retrieval desired image not only for diagnosis purpose, but also has high compression ratio.
