Research and Design Transportation Information Dissemination System Based on ICE

The traffic jam is one of the typical problems of the China's transportation.How to send the real-time traffic information to the specified place,and ensure the security and enhance the diversity in the meantime is one of the research focuses of the intelligent transportation system(ITS).In this paper,an object oriented middleware called ICE has been thoroughly studied,and IceStorm,IceGrid and Glacier have been used to design a transportation information dissemination system,which can ensure the secure and efficient transmission of the real-time traffic information in the distributed system.
